Many of us feel overwhelmed at some point in our lives, we all have a lot to cope with on a seemingly constant basis and it seems as soon as one thing is more or less under control another takes its place. Often this feeling can have the exact opposite of how we want to feel in that situation – we procrastinate, we can’t see the wood for the trees and a feeling of inertia takes over and often nothing is accomplished or, if it is, we feel it’s not been done to the best of our ability. This then brings on feelings of not being able to cope and forecasting that feeling into the future, that nothing will improve and we are incapable of being able to handle day to day life, let alone anything major that may be looming on the horizon. These feelings can often lead to stress and anxiety, feelings of low self-esteem and sometimes depression.

 

 

 

How can Solution Focused Hypnotherapy help?

The first place to start is with enabling a sense of calm and relaxation. When our minds are constantly whirling it’s difficult to focus on finding the solutions we need to make in order to move forward.

Often the first things to be affected is our sleep, so by ensuring your sleeping patterns are back on track you can feel in a better place to make decisions and take action. We can then break down what needs to be achieved into smaller, doable chunks.

Building on a sense of achievement, using past strengths and resources to find the solutions you need and a clearer view of where you want to be.

Find a time to suit your schedule. On average clients see me for between 8-12 sessions, but this can vary. Phobias and smoking take 3 sessions.

 

Session Format

Each session lasts for 1 hour, focusing on your positive changes, refocusing your goals and the steps you can take to achieve these. Each session ends with 20 minutes of hypnotherapy.
