Confidence and Self Esteem
LIVE THE LIFE YOU WANT
Lack of confidence can affect your relationships, stop you reaching your highest potential, it makes you focus only on the criticism and the negatives. Confidence is a state of mind that can be enhanced.
Self-esteem is the degree to which we feel confident in our own skin, in the way we look and in the way we think, it’s also how we value and respect ourselves, and this greatly affects our well-being. People with low self-esteem often also suffer from low confidence.
Low self-confidence can be a result of many factors including fear of the unknown, criticism, feeling unprepared, lack of knowledge and previous failures. Our levels of confidence can fluctuate and some days we feel more confident than others. However, for some people, this can be a more persistent emotional state and can lead to feelings of stress and anxiety.
How can solution focused hypnotherapy help with Confidence?
You can begin to understand the existence and cause of any negative and limiting self-beliefs and begin to focus on what you can do rather than what you cannot. We achieve this by talking about and visualising how you would like to feel, learning to notice the positives in your everyday life and what has worked well in the past and building on strengths and resources.
