It becomes a negative state of being when there seems no let up and can affect your emotions, behaviour, thinking and health. Research shows that continued stress can bring on or worsen certain symptoms or illnesses including headaches, stomach upsets, high blood pressure, strokes or heart attack. Chronic stress has also been linked to diabetes and obesity.
