But the truth is that smoking increases your stress cycle, that feeling in between cigarettes is when your body is craving and planning your next cigarette, and this is far from relaxing – this is where the craving kicks in, creates a stress reflex in your body and the next cigarette just brings you back towards feeling normal, and so the never-ending stress cycle begins again.

How Can solution focused hypnotherapy help me stop smoking?

Your subconscious mind holds all your beliefs and patterns of behaviour related to smoking. We look in detail at how your subconscious also holds your rational, logical mind to ransom with all the reasons it needs and wants to smoke. For this to be a success it is imperative that you really want to give up, if there is a part of you that doesn’t want to stop, that will be the greater force and it is very likely to win. If you are determined 100% to be a non-smoker – this will work.

Many hypnotherapists promise to help you quit in one session. I have evolved my program to take 3 sessions, as I really want this to work and for you to have the best results possible – to be a non-smoker for life.

Find a time to suit your schedule. On average clients see me for between 8-12 sessions, but this can vary. Phobias and smoking take 3 sessions.

 

Session Format

Each session lasts for 1 hour, focusing on your positive changes, refocusing your goals and the steps you can take to achieve these. Each session ends with 20 minutes of hypnotherapy.
