But the truth is that smoking increases your stress cycle, that feeling in between cigarettes is when your body is craving and planning your next cigarette, and this is far from relaxing – this is where the craving kicks in, creates a stress reflex in your body and the next cigarette just brings you back towards feeling normal, and so the never-ending stress cycle begins again.

Your subconscious mind holds all your beliefs and patterns of behaviour related to smoking. We look in detail at how your subconscious also holds your rational, logical mind to ransom with all the reasons it needs and wants to smoke. For this to be a success it is imperative that you really want to give up, if there is a part of you that doesn’t want to stop, that will be the greater force and it is very likely to win.
