Anxiety is very closely linked with stress. Anxiety is a general term for several disorders that cause nervousness, fear, apprehension and worrying. These disorders affect how we feel and behave and can cause physical symptoms.
Mild anxiety is vague and unsettling, a general feeling of unease such as when preparing for a job interview, a driving test or an exam. Whilst severe anxiety can seriously affect day-to-day living, sometimes resulting in panic attacks.
Physical symptoms may include dizziness, tiredness, palpitations, muscles aches, shaking, dry mouth, sweating, shortness of breath, feeling sick and stomach aches, headaches or difficulty falling or staying asleep.
Emotional symptoms may include restlessness, a sense of dread, feeling constantly “on edge”, difficulty concentrating, irritability, feeling overwhelmed, unable to cope with day to day tasks, being out of control, crying or obsessive/repetitive behaviour.

Find a time to suit your schedule. On average clients see me for between 8-12 sessions, but this can vary. Phobias and smoking take 3 sessions.
Session Format
Each session lasts for 1 hour, focusing on your positive changes, refocusing your goals and the steps you can take to achieve these.
