We are living in a sleep epidemic, we are now sleeping 25% less than we used to just 50 years ago. Many of us are functioning on 6 -7 hours’ sleep a night when we should be sleeping for at least 8 hours. We live in a non-stop 24/7 world, where everything is available for us. Yet we are not programmed to live like this, and it is taking its toll on our health and well-being.
How many of us having difficulty falling asleep, or wake up in the middle of the night with our minds whirling unable to fall back to sleep again? Many of us are sleeping poorly, and it can affect everything we do.
We need sleep not only to repair and restore our bodies during the night, but also to process all the events that have happened to us during the previous day, it enables us to lay down memories and new learning. We need a good night’s sleep to be able to function, to make clear decisions, to be able to focus and have energy during the following day.
Lack of sleep can suppress your immune system, it can lead to diabetes and being overweight. It can also increase your chances of heart disease and having a stroke.
How Can solution focused hypnotherapy help me Sleep?
At the end of the initial consultation, I give every client an audio file to listen to every night when they go to bed. The main aim of the audio is to get sleeping patterns back on track. This is the first thing I tackle with any client because when we are sleeping better we can think more clearly and function better. I look at ‘sleep hygiene’ and give strategies, techniques and tips to employ to get a better night’s sleep.
A good night’s sleep improves your energy levels, concentration and memory. It reduces your stress levels and can increase your life expectancy.

Find a time to suit your schedule. On average clients see me for between 8-12 sessions, but this can vary. Phobias and smoking take 3 sessions.
Session Format
Each session lasts for 1 hour, focusing on your positive changes, refocusing your goals and the steps you can take to achieve these.
